40th Avenue bridge reopens Friday
March 25, 2021 - The 40th Ave. NE bridge in St. Petersburg will reopen ahead of schedule on Friday, March 26, at 5 p.m. The next phase of construction also will begin at that time, a news release from the city said. The reopening will include a new traffic pattern and drivers are encouraged to use caution while traveling through this active construction zone. The bridge connects two St. Petersburg neighborhoods – Northeast Park and Shore Acres.
