Accenture names new CEO
July 12, 2019 - Accenture, one of the largest professional services firms in the Tampa-St. Pete area, named Julie Sweet as its global CEO. Sweet has been head of Accenture's North American business. She starts her new job on Sept. 1. David Rowland, currently interim CEO, was appointed executive chairman. With about 600 employees in the Tampa Bay area and 459,000 worldwide, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) helps clients improve their business performance, with a growing focus on digital, cloud and security-related services.
