Amalie Arena has a new name
August 13, 2025 - Benchmark International, a Tampa-based mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, has acquired the naming rights to Amalie Arena. The home of the Tampa Bay Lightning is now known as Benchmark International Arena, and the deal includes $3 million in joint nonprofit contributions to the surrounding community. Vinik Sports Group announced the change Wednesday morning at a press conference in Tampa that featured Mayor Jane Castor and Hillsborough County Commission Chair Ken Hagan. Financial terms of the naming rights agreement were not disclosed.
