Beach closes for emergency dune restoration
September 19, 2023 - Pinellas County officials are starting emergency beach dune restoration projects as promised. The City of Treasure Island will close portions of Sunset Beach south of Caddy’s restaurant beginning Sept. 20 to ensure public safety. All parking lots and beach access points will close for about a month.
