Bolts return home after embarrassing loss

June 20, 2022 - The Tampa Bay Lightning find themselves in familiar territory as they return home after dropping two games on the road for the second-straight playoff series. However, unlike Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Bolts were completely demolished 7-0 by the Colorado Avalanche in the second game of the Stanley Cup Finals in Denver Saturday night. After the game, Lightning star Steven Stamkos said a loss is a loss regardless of the score, and “let’s get back home in front of our fans and let’s see what we’re made of.” Tampa Bay has the chance to right the ship at 8 pm. Monday night in Amalie Arena.
