City considers $2.7M fiber network for water infrastructure
August 18, 2026 - St. Petersburg City Council will consider a $2.72 million agreement during its Aug. 27 meeting with Unity Fiber to design, build, install and maintain a dedicated fiber-optic network for the Water Resources Department. The deal includes a 20-year lease of the network to the city.
