City launches nonprofit community support services program
July 14, 2026 - The City of St. Petersburg has launched the Sunrise St. Pete Non-Profit Community Support Services Program. According to a prepared statement, the initiative "will provide funding to nonprofit organizations delivering critical services to residents recovering from Hurricanes Idalia and Helene." The program will issue a series of Requests for Applications, "each focused on a specific community need." A virtual information session will take place Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.
