Clearwater firm joins Russell stock indexes
July 2, 2019 - Apyx Medical Corp. was added to the Russell 3000 and Russell 2000 Indexes, effective July 1. Apyx (Nasdaq: APYX) is a medical device manufacturer headquartered in Clearwater and its stock outperformed all other publicly traded companies based in the Tampa Bay area in 2018. The Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors, and the company's inclusion in them is expected to enhance the company’s visibility in the public markets, Charlie Goodwin, Apyx president and CEO, said in a news release.
