Clearwater medical device firm gets OK to expand international sales
June 23, 2020 - Apyx Medical Corp. has received regulatory approval to market and sell its helium plasma technology products in five countries outside the United States. The technology is marketed and sold as Renuvion in the cosmetic surgery market and J-Plasma in the hospital surgical market. Apyx (Nasdaq APYX), a medical device manufacturer in Clearwater, will now be able to sell the products in Australia, Brazil, Israel, Taiwan and Thailand. The company has contracted with distributors to market and sell its products in each country, a news release said.
