Coffee Pot Turkey Trot 5k returns

November 3, 2022 - The popular Coffee Pot Turkey Trot 5K will return for its sixth year Thanksgiving morning. This family-friendly timed 5K loops around St. Petersburg’s Coffee Pot Bayou. The race will be held at 7:45 a.m. Nov. 24.  The event is experiencing increased demand and will close registration at 3,000 runners, according to a news release. It will begin and end on 34th Avenue NE, behind North Shore Elementary school. The USATF-certified 5K route heads towards Coffee Pot Bayou, over the Snell Isle Bridge and ends at the school. This year’s race is sponsored by Northstar Realty: Georgia and Kirby, and co-sponsored by the City of St. Petersburg.
