County implements mobile parking tech

August 17, 2022 - Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 24, people visiting Pinellas County’s parks and boat ramps can pay for parking through their mobile phones. The Parks & Conservation Resources department is implementing the new system at Fort De Soto, Sand Key Park, Fred Howard Beach, all county boat ramps and the Sutherland Bayou, Belleair and Park Boulevard ramps. Visitors can pay through the Flowbird mobile parking app or by using a credit card at pay-by-plate terminals. In light of the changes, guests are no longer required to display receipts.
