County Mosquito Control increases efforts in Palm Harbor

Pinellas County Mosquito Control is increasing efforts to "reduce mosquito populations" in the Palm Harbor area after the Florida Department of Health issued a Mosquito Borne Illness Alert, according to a prepared statement. Two cases of "locally-acquired" Dengue Fever have been confirmed in Pinellas County. Control crews have "increased ground inspections" and "initiated dawn truck mounted fogging."
