County offers to extend office, gallery lease for Creative Pinellas
September 23, 2025 - According to Margaret Murray, CEO of the arts support organization Creative Pinellas, county government has offered to extend the lease at the group's Largo headquarters and gallery. "Operations will continue for the foreseeable future," she wrote in a prepared statement Tuesday, despite Pinellas County’s defunding of the organization beginning Oct. 1. “We are moving forward with both urgency and thoughtful deliberation to determine how we can best continue to serve our cultural community,” Murray wrote, adding that Creative Pinellas "will continue to administer our County public art projects."
