County officials seek opioid abatement feedback

June 7, 2024 - Pinellas County officials are asking residents to share their experiences with the opioid epidemic to inform future abatement planning through a brief survey. They are also hosting a series of community listening sessions throughout the county. In 2022, Pinellas had one of the highest overdose rates in Florida, and state lawmakers have allocated $90 million for officials to use over the next 18 years.
