Datz restaurant closes in Downtown St. Pete
October 3, 2025 - Regional restaurant chain Datz has closed its last standing location in downtown St. Petersburg. "It's been a great and memorable journey throughout the years. Unfortunately, we have finished our final chapter in our Datz story," reads a sign on the door at 180 Central Ave. Datz opened its first South Tampa restaurant in 2009, and the 5,000-square-foot St. Pete location followed in 2019. The company opened a Riverview outpost in 2020.
