Dave Eggers to chair the Pinellas County Commission
November 19, 2025 - The Pinellas County Commission unanimously elected Commissioner Dave Eggers to serve as its chairperson for 2026 at Tuesday's meeting. Commissioner Chris Latvala will replace Eggers as vice chair. Eggers will succeed current Chair Brian Scott and lead meetings, represent the commission at community events and coordinate committee assignments.
