Developer closes $16.5 million deal for St. Pete housing complex
August 7, 2025 - A Houston-based development recently purchased a nearly nine-acre site at 3100 22nd Ave. N. in St. Petersburg's North Kenwood neighborhood for $16.5 million. The Hanover Company signed the deal July 30, and the property previously housed a retail plaza. The developer submitted plans for a 304-unit workforce - not affordable - housing complex at the site under the Live Local Act, the city's first, in May 2024.
