Duke Energy is back to normal business in Florida

September 4, 2019 - Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) has released all of the 4,300 outside crews who were pre-staged to assist with Hurricane Dorian power restoration in Florida. The 2,200 crews and contractors already in the state are adequate to respond to any additional Hurricane Dorian-related power outages that occur today, a news release said. Workers from Duke's Midwest contingent  will travel to the Carolinas to help with power restoration after the storm’s anticipated impact to those states.
