Duke Energy supports local scholarships
January 22, 2024 - Officials with Duke Energy recently announced a $50,000 donation to St. Petersburg College’s (SPC) Promise Scholarship program that provides graduates from eight Pinellas County high schools with free tuition and books. SPC launched the pilot program in 2023 for graduates of five local schools with the highest poverty rates. Over 460 students received the scholarship last year.
