Forward Pinellas launches equity assessment survey
April 20, 2021 -
Forward Pinellas is launching an Equity Assessment in order to better understand needs in the community and how existing barriers to transportation, jobs, education and affordable housing can be removed. From now until May 30, residents can complete a 5-minute survey to share their thoughts on how to create a more equitable community. “I am proud to be part of an agency that is committed to dismantling the racist legacy of past urban planning laws and policies," said Forward Pinellas Chair and city council member Darden Rice. "The equity assessment is the first step in developing a stronger connection with the community by ensuring that our planning work is inclusive and equitable.”
