Grand Prix champions, St. Pete mayors celebrate 20 years of racing
February 2, 2024 - IndyCar Series officials and Green Savoree Racing Promotion, organizers of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, will host “A Grand Prix Evening - Celebrating 20 Years of Champions” March 8 at the Mahaffey Theater. The event will feature past race winners, former Mayors Rick Baker, Bill Foster and Rick Kriseman, and current Mayor Ken Welch. Proceeds from the event, which concludes the first day of races, will benefit four local youth organizations. For more information, visit the website here.
