Habitat for Humanity gala raises $1.1 million-plus
April 15, 2026 - Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside’s sold-out Boots on the Beach Gala drew more than 500 guests Friday at the Opal Sol Resort in Clearwater and raised more than $1.144 million. Proceeds from the event, presented by Duke Energy, will support affordable homeownership opportunities across the region. During the gala, Pinellas County teacher and Habitat homeowner Jade Copeland said stable housing helps educators show up with more focus and consistency for their students, underscoring the organization’s emphasis on housing affordability for working families.
