HCA buys stake in Galen
March 15, 2019 - HCA Healthcare is buying a stake in Galen College of Nursing and will become the majority owner when the deal closes. Financial terms were not disclosed. Galen provides nursing education to about 1,200 students in St. Petersburg at its new campus opened last fall. HCA (NYSE: HCA) is the largest for-profit hospital operator in the Tampa Bay area.
