Hillsborough County extends closures
April 29, 2020 - Hillsborough County is extending all existing closures through Friday, May 15. The county also remains under a local state of emergency. Extending the closings is part of the continued mitigation efforts in response to Covid-19 coronavirus and in anticipation of upcoming announcements from Florida officials regarding plans for a gradual reopening of the state, a news release from the county said. The extension gives the county enough time to make sure its operations and services align to any executive orders issued by Gov. Ron DeSantis, according to the news release.
