Historic Kenwood neighborhood to plant 30 trees
June 25, 2025 - The Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association, which serves the area between 1st Avenue and 9th Avenue North in St. Petersburg, has launched a fundraising campaign to plant at least 30 new trees throughout the community. Organizers hope to raise $20,000 and rebuild a tree canopy that reduces temperatures, mitigates flooding and supports wildlife. For more information, visit the website here.
