Home down payments decrease in Tampa Bay
April 6, 2023 - Real estate platform Redfin recently highlighted how Tampa Bay homebuyers are putting less money down towards new purchases. The study found the area’s median down payment in January was $32,250, a 14.4% year-over-year decrease. However, St. Petersburg home prices have increased nearly 14% compared to 2022.
