Hospital laundry firm shutters Tampa facility
May 7, 2019 - Sixty workers will lose their jobs when Novo Health Services close its facility at 4501 Acline Dr. E. in Tampa. Novo, an Atlanta-based company that provides laundry services to hospitals, told the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity that it has seen "a significant decline in business in the greater Tampa services market." The company plans to lay off the entire workforce in phases, beginning on June 28 and continuing until Aug. 23.
