Innovation boosts USF’s economic impact
August 27, 2019 - The economic impact of the University of South Florida’s innovation efforts have increased by more than 45 percent over the last three years to $582 million annually. The university's economic enterprise, which includes USF Research Park, the Technology Transfer Office, the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator and the Office of Corporate Partnerships, sustains more than 4,000 public and private sector jobs and returns more than $71 million in tax revenue to local, state and federal coffers, a news release said.
