Jeffry Knight’s ferry crash trial moved to February 2027
October 26, 2026 - The trial of boat owner Jeffry Knight, facing charges in the April 2025 collision with the Clearwater Ferry that resulted in the death of a passenger, has been moved to February, 2027. Defense attorneys are attempting to block a potential jury from hearing the details of a 2019 vessel crash that also involved Knight. The former co-owner of Jannus Live pleaded not guilty to 24 counts, including eight felony counts.
