Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital receives $40 million gift

September 12, 2026 - St. Petersburg-based Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital has received a $40 million gift from Tom Golisano to support the organization's Wesley Chapel hospital, which is currently under construction. This is the largest donation the health system has ever received. According to a prepared statement, "the new five-story, 56-bed hospital will be known as Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Golisano Children’s Medical Center at Wesley Chapel and is expected to open in the fall of 2027."
