KnowBe4 celebrates a benchmark by giving back

August 11, 2020 - KnowBe4, a Clearwater-based cybersecurity training company, will facilitate the planting of 10,000 trees worldwide to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary and its 1,000th employee. “One Tree Planted,” a charity that helps global reforestation efforts, will be planting the trees as soon as possible, a news release said. The trees will be planted in Indonesia, Australia, Kenya and the United States, where there is a need for trees due on wildfires and other environmental threats. The project is a symbol of KnowBe4's global growth and allows the company to give back to the planet, said Stu Sjouwerman, CEO. KnowBe4, which offers security awareness and simulated phishing platforms to train workers to become human firewalls to stop cyberattacks, is among the fastest-growing companies based in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area and is hiring, with more than 100 open positions.
