Largo business owner named to Florida Council on Arts and Culture

October 2, 2020 - Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Richard Forsythe to the Florida Council on Arts and Culture. Forsyth is the owner, president and CEO of Wendover Art Group, a Largo company that makes artwork and mirrors. He previously was an associate with private equity firm Goense Bounds and Partners, and a mergers and acquisitions analyst with First Union Securities. Forsyth is incoming chapter chair for the Florida chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization and serves on the Special Operations Warrior Foundation board. The Florida Council on Arts and Culture is a 15-member advisory council appointed to advise the Secretary of State regarding cultural grant funding and on matters pertaining to culture in Florida.
