Last Trop community input session to be held tonight

July 28, 2022 - The final community input session for the public to provide input regarding the redevelopment of the 86-acre Tropicana Field/ Historic Gas Plan District site will be held tonight. The city is hosting the event at 5:30 p.m. at the University of South Florida’s St. Petersburg campus, the event will also be streamed. The input gathered during the community engagement sessions will be used to craft the language for the new request for proposals for the redevelopment, which is expected to be released in August. St. Petersburg Mayor Ken Welch will select a master developer by the end of the year.
