Local businesses earn Mayor’s pet-friendly certification
June 4, 2021 - Five local businesses are now designated as pet-friendly after becoming certified through the Mayor's Pet-Friendly Business Program. These local businesses have applied and been vetted to be certified include: State Farm, Premier Sotheby's, Massey Law Group PA, Grand Central Brewhouse, and The Harlow at Gateway. The one-year certification is awarded to businesses where their staff has completed a pet handling training session, the business has insurance that covers welcoming pets, and that the business provides water for pets among other factors.
