Local hospital receives recognition for newborn care
September 25, 2023 - The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration recently (AHCA) designated Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) as a Level IV facility. Johns Hopkins is the first Pinellas County hospital to receive the AHCA’s highest NICU classification. Those facilities provide the most advanced medical and surgical care for newborns and premature infants.
