Local physicians practice sells to Miami group
June 4, 2021 - Florida Family Primary Care Centers has sold to Miami Beach Medical Group. Financial terms were not disclosed in a news release announcing the deal. Florida Family Primary Care Centers, based in Tampa, has six medical centers, including an office at 6245 66th St. N. in Pinellas Park. It is an at-risk primary care provider, serving over 25,000 commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage members in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area. Miami Beach Medical Group provides primary care, specialty care and ancillary services to Medicare Advantage plan members as well as Medicaid and commercial patients. Miami Beach Medical Group serves patients through 19 clinics in five Florida counties.
