Local school celebrates 150th anniversary
May 17, 2025 - Anona Elementary School, founded in 1874, celebrated its 150th anniversary this week. Anona has earned an "A" grade for the past four years and remains a cornerstone of the Largo community. Students created a time capsule Friday filled with photos, meaningful items and letters to future kids who will open it in 50 years for the school's bicentennial anniversary.
