Local startup to transmit Imagine Dragons from the Moon
September 4, 2024 - Pop rock band Imagine Dragons announced Tuesday that St. Petersburg-based Lonestar Data Holdings will transmit a new track, “Children of the Sky (A Starfield Song),” to Earth from the Moon’s surface in January 2025. The local startup became the first to send data to and from the moon in late February. Lonestar recently partnered with Valkyrie, an artificial intelligence-focused applied science company, as it prepares for its second mission, Freedom.
