MarineMax buys yacht brokerage
July 2, 2019 - MarineMax signed a deal with the Italian-based Azimut/Benetti Group to buy Fraser Yachts Group, a leading superyacht brokerage and luxury yacht services company in the world. Financial terms were not disclosed in a news release. MarineMax (NYSE: HZO), a Clearwater-based recreational boat and yacht dealer, also said it has a new multiyear agreement to become its exclusive dealer for the Benetti Class of yachts in North America.
