Mazzaro’s to open Sicilian gelato shop in St. Pete
July 30, 2025 - St. Petersburg's popular Mazzaro's Italian Market will open a new Sicilian-style gelato and granita shop, Zagara, in August. Granita is a semi-frozen Italian dessert, and the shop will open across the street from the market at 3001 22nd Ave. N. Zagara will share a building with Casa di Mazzaro, a specialty kitchenware and tea shop.
