Michael Franti Clearwater show rescheduled for family reasons
May 13, 2025 - Singer/songwriter and Spearhead bandleader Michael Franti canceled several concerts this week, including one scheduled for Friday at the BayCare Sound. Franti issued this statement: "My wife, Sara, has just gone into labor 3 weeks early and our new baby girl is on her way! As much as I’ve been looking forward to performing for you tonight in Atlanta and later this week in Florida, I need to be with Sara and my family and I’m leaving right away to be with them …Thank you for your love, and I can’t wait to see you all in September!" The Clearwater performance has been rescheduled for Sept. 19.
