Patti Smith to return to Sarasota’s Selby Gardens April 28
March 31, 2022 - Poet, musician, punk icon and author Patti Smith will return to Sarasota's Marie Selby Botanical Gardens April 28 for an encore performance of her sold-out February lecture/presentation, in conjunction with Robert Mapplethorpe and Patti Smith: Flowers, Poetry, and Light, an exhibition of photographs by Mapplethorpe – of orchids, hyacinths and irises – paired with Smith’s poetry and lyrics concerning nature and gardens. Tickets will go on sale April 7 at the Selby Gardens website.
