PCS to give students five days worth of meals for Thanksgiving break

November 9, 2021 - Pinellas County Schools (PCS) will ensure no child has to go without nutritious meals over Thanksgiving break. PCS recently announced every student in the county is eligible for a free meal box containing breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the five days school will be out over the break. Students must pre-register for a meal box, and distribution will take place Thursday, Nov. 18. Individual schools will determine the exact time and place the meals are distributed. PCS encourages families to reach out to their child’s school and reserve their meals as soon as possible. Over half of PCS students receive free or reduced lunch.
