Pinellas County ranks among top Florida counties where residents earn the most investment income
April 2, 2022 - Pinellas County ranks No. 7 among the Top 10 Florida counties where residents earn the most income from investments, according to a study released by SmartAsset. The study compared counties across three metrics - ordinary dividends, qualified dividends and net capital gains. Pinellas County had over $3.7 million of new capital gains, over $1.2 million of ordinary dividends and an investment index of 8.78. According to the study, Pinellas County outranks Hillsborough County, Orange County and Martin County. The top-ranked county was Palm Beach County. Find the full study and data here.
