Pinellas County Schools extend summer meal distributions by three weeks

Pinellas County Schools is extending its Summer BreakSpot meal distributions until Wednesday, Aug. 19. The schedule adjustment was made due to the school board’s decision to delay the start of the school year until Aug. 24. Pinellas County Schools Food and Nutrition Team will continue to provide students with six days' worth of meals between 8-11 a.m. on Aug. 5 and 12. Four days' worth of meals will also be provided on Wednesday, Aug. 19. Students who chose the MyPCS Online Learning Option for the first quarter of the school year will be offered five days' worth of meals. Parents and guardians will be allowed to pick up meals without their child being present; ID will be required. More details on locations, days and times are being determined.
