Pinellas County schools give free books

July 17, 2019 - The Pinellas County School Board will celebrate its partnership with the Juvenile Welfare Board, the United Way and the myON Street Team by giving two free books to every child who visits the Barbara S. Ponce library on July 23. The book giveaway will be from noon to 2 p.m. The myON Street Team, a specially-trained group of high school and college students, will show families how to access a free subscription to myON’s 6,000 digital books. Every child in Pinellas County has access to these books from birth to 5th grade as part of the "Read on myON" partnership.
