Pinellas County Thanksgiving closures
November 22, 2021 - Pinellas County government offices will close on both Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26, this week in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. This includes all departments under the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk’s Office, Tax Collector, and the Property Appraiser. The Pinellas County Human Services, Veterans Services and Pinellas County Animal Services will also remain closed both days. The Solid Waste Disposal facility will close Thanksgiving day and reopen from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26. County parks and outdoor areas of the county preserves will remain open on Thanksgiving but close on Friday, Nov. 26, except for Fort De Soto Park. Fort De Soto Park, its campgrounds and all county boat ramps and beach access areas will remain open through the holiday. All Parks & Conservation Resources administrative offices will close on both days.
