
Pinellas students earn $164,000 for good grades

Freshmen students from Lakewood, Boca Ciega and Hollins High Schools recently earned $164,000 for themselves, their mentors and their schools through the 11th Annual Paid for Grades program. This literacy initiative, run by Chargebacks911's not-for-profit organization Paid for Grades, in partnership with the Pinellas Education Foundation, rewards ninth-grade students for improving their overall grade point average and readability levels and demonstrating academic improvement, good attendance and behavioral standing.
