PSTA receives $850,000 for St. Pete ferry dock
September 5, 2026 - The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority has received $850,000 in federal funding to help construct a permanent dock in downtown St. Petersburg for the upcoming Tampa Bay Ferry service. U.S. representative Kathy Castor, St. Petersburg Mayor Ken Welch, PSTA leaders and Hubbard's Marina representatives came together Friday to mark the occasion. Hubbard's Marina was selected to operate the service in September 2025.
