Rays fans can watch games in ‘virtual ballpark’

September 4, 2024 - Major League Baseball announced Wednesday that it will host interactive watch parties in virtual ballparks for select weekly matchups in September, starting with tonight’s game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins. Each watch party features a 3D representation of the games synched with the live broadcast, previously impossible views, spatial audio and scavenger hunts. The Rays will also play in the virtual ballpark Sept. 25. For more information, visit the website here.
